Professor Donghui Li is Professor of Finance and Executive Dean of the Management School at the Jinan University.

He received his PhD in Finance from the University of New South Wales. Before joining Jinan University in 2016, he was an Associate Professor of Finance at the University of New South Wales until 2015.

His research interests are in the areas of international corporate finance and corporate governance, with a particular focus on the effects of macro-institutional environments and ownership structure on financial markets. His research papers have been published in top international journals, including theJournal of Finance, the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, the Journal of Corporate Finance, the Journal of Banking and Finance, the Journal of International Money and Finance, and the Journal of Risk and Insurance, among others. He regularly serves as a peer reviewer for international journals, such as the Journal of Banking and Finance, the Journal of International Money and Finance, and the Journal of Risk and Insurance. He has been awarded with research grants from several Key and General Programs of National Natural Science Foundation of China and from the Australian Research Council.
