Invited to act as a research fellow of Boeing in 2004, and got TOC lecturer certification in 2000. Currently the President of the Global Manufacturing Research Group (GMRG) (www.gmrg.org) (GMRG is a research organization consisting of more than 20 countries and specialized in the global supply chain management field), the vice chairman of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) of Kansas State, and the deputy chief editor of many international journals, and an editorial board member of a number of academic journals.
