Entrusted by General Office of the CPC Central Committee to independently complete 3 reports such as Policy Key points of CPC Central Committee on Reform and Development of State-owned Enterprises, etc; presided over and completed over 10 major topics of provincial or ministry levels including Customs Department, former Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Co-operation, former State Economic and Trade Commission, former  State Planning Commission, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Science and Technology and Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, etc. Served as the backbone and participated in and completed over 10 major topics of national level including Office of Finance, Development Research Center of the State Council and Chinese Academy of Engineering, etc. Completed over 10 researches on industrial development and structural adjustment idea planning for many cities including Shenyang, Chengdu, Taiyuan, Xiangfan, Shunyi, Zhaoqing, Nanchuan, Leping, Suzhou and Wenzhou, etc. Made research and completed over 10 pieces of consulting reports for many enterprises including import and export of Sinochem, Beijing Comprehensive Investment, Jiangsu Far East Group Limited, Rising Sun Company, Galanz, CTMTC Technical Service Imp. & Exp. Corp., Genyuan Medicine, Yellow Sea Rubber Group, Chongqing Iron & Steel Group, Guangdong Power Grid Corporation, Nanjing Medical Company Limited, etc. More than 400 papers and research reports, 2 monographs, over 10 cooperative monographs and 3 works in which executed as an editor in chief have been completed; 4 million characters have been published in total. Most of publishing carriers of papers are central-level newspapers and periodicals, such as Social Sciences, Xinhua Digest, Chinese Industrial Economy, People's Daily and Economic Daily, etc. For example,

1)  Study on Strategic Problems of International Investment and Financing in Trans-century Economic Development of China, a project member and sub-report writer.

2)  Analysis and Research Report of Custom Clearance Risks of Import and Export Enterprises, the topic leader. The topic applies neural network analysis method to analyze about 300,000 survey data relating to 6 customs including Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, Shanghai, Gongbei, Jiulong and Huangpu, and 2452 enterprises; after that, the mathematical model applying to the appraisal on corporate risks by customs around China is proposed; upon onsite verification of Suzhou, Nantong and Xiamen, the results are basically conforming to the actual classification of enterprises made by customs in various areas, with total accuracy rate up to 80%. Audit Department of General Administration of Customs thinks establishment of the mathematical model of corporate risk analysis preliminarily solves scientific discrimination problems of various complexities on appraisal of corporate reputation in multi-dimensional indicator system. Qian Guanlin, Director General of General Administration of Customs gave such comments, “This research brings great achievements and deep significances; the research on other topics of modern customs system may uses this method for reference.” It has been published on Vol. 130 of Customs Key Information (September 27, 1996) and submitted to the relevant leaders and departments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council.

3)  Walking to Balanced Opening – Study on Open Structure of China’s External Economy (monograph), incorporated into the library for young scholars of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences as an excellent academic theoretical works. In the view of Shulian Zhou, a member of the national committee of CPPCC and famous economist, “The book sets a stable foundation for the subject ‘Open Structure’”; in the view of Bei Jin, Deputy Director of Institute of Industrial Economics of CASS and Editor in Chief of China Business, “This book has a certain theoretical values and practical significances for promoting China’s further opening-up.” Some opinions shown in this book has attracted the relevant department’s high attention and been published in Internal Reference of People's Daily and Key Newspaper of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

4)  Study on Implementation of Large Group Companies (Contributor Representatives of State-owned Properties) Becoming Investment Institutions Authorized by the State, a project member and sub-topic leader. This research achievement has been applied in Donglian Company and CITIC and perfected more. It has played and will continue to play an important role in deepening management reform of state-owned properties, putting the contributor representatives of state-owned properties into practice and guaranteeing hedge and value adding of state-owned properties.
